Welcome our Indiegogo Project of the Week (IPOW)- Findables by findables.me in Sillicon Valley. Their goal? Make yourself Findable with a digital fingerprint that links your online profiles to all of your stuff (By stuff, we mean your iPhone, Android phone, iPad case. Things that you would want to find if they were ever lost!)
Available for Android lovers too:
So how does Findables do this? When you buy one of their phone or iPad cases, there is a QR code printed on it. This QR code can then be scanned by other people to locate your business, personal, or lost and found page. You control what link your QR code goes to by using the Findables mobile app. For example, if you lost your phone, you would edit your QR code profile in the app to display a "lost and found" page when scanned. Although it's not a guarantee that everyone will be a good Samaritan and return your phone, you can at least increase your chances of your recovering your lost item. See a full review of the Findables case by clicking here.
As for the quality of the cases, they are made with 100% polycarbonate with an anti-static finish that repels dirt, dust, and lint! Oh and can someone please turn off the lights? They even have a glow in the dark version. Want to buy one of these cases? They are on sale now at www.wrappled.com (We even have it for the new iPhone 5!)
